Twenty Four Seven Hotels, a third-party hospitality management company for premium-branded, select-service and lifestyle hotel segments in the western U.S., has named Dan Grunbeck corporate F&B director. In the newly created role, he will implement and lead strategic operations to enhance offerings and partner with hotels to create unique, market-based food and beverage concepts, as well as source quality products that adhere to brand standards.
“Dan is a proven F&B leader well known for developing innovative dining experiences while boosting efficiencies,” said David Wani, CEO, Twenty Four Seven Hotels. “He is highly regarded for his ability to elevate the F&B experience and overall department revenues with an uncanny knack for improving training, retention, service and profitability while monitoring quality and presentation across all brands.”
A hospitality and food service veteran of nearly two decades, Grunbeck most recently served as executive chef/F&B director at Snowpine Lodge in Alta, UT. While there, he increased year-over-year profitability of the F&B department by 51.4%. He held similar positions at other notable hotels, including executive chef at both Pendry Park City and Kimpton Restaurants and Bars. Grunbeck received his bachelor’s degree in hotel and lodging management with a sommelier concentration from Johnson and Wales University.
“As Twenty Four Seven Hotels expands its portfolio, the creation and filling of a dynamic corporate food and beverage director position further demonstrates our commitment to the guest experience and providing a more robust F&B program on trend with what todays’ travelers are demanding,” said Amanda Hawkins-Vogel, COO, Twenty Four Seven.
