UK: Commercial real estate agency CBRE is marketing the Lock & Key Hotel in Liverpool at a guide price of £3 million.
Located at 15-19 Duke Street in Liverpool city centre, the Lock & Key hotel is housed in a Grade II-listed Georgian townhouse. It offers 26 bedrooms and a ground floor restaurant and bar.
In 2023, the current owners of Lock & Key invested £800,000 into the property, expanding into 19 Duke Street and adding 12 bedrooms.
All 26 bedrooms have been individually designed in partnership with House of Sloane.
The hotel originally opened in 2019 with 14 rooms as the second phase of development, following the initial launch of the restaurant and bar.
Shaun Skidmore, senior director of CBRE’s operational real estate team said: “This is an exciting opportunity for potential investors to acquire a high performing, stunning hotel in a prime part of Liverpool city centre, as well as being close to some key regeneration developments and famous landmarks. The building is a best-in-class, contemporary specification which retains the original character features.
“This is a prime investment opportunity in a city with world famous arts and culture, heritage of global significance, a diverse economy and world leading education,” he added.
