CoralTree Hospitality has added Darlene Vanderlaan and Ben Whitefox VP, finance.

Vanderlaan brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in financial management, resort operations and asset development. She previously served as director of resort operations development and programming for Holiday Inn Club Vacations, where she led project planning and execution for new resort openings, drove technology integrations and enhanced operational performance to elevate the guest experience. Her expertise spans budgeting, financial strategy, accounting and property development.
Whitefox’s career spans more than a decade with several high-level hospitality finance positions. He’s held roles at both the property and corporate level with companies including Sage Hospitality, Hilton and independent lifestyle brands. He brings deep expertise in financial strategy, operational efficiency and cross-functional leadership, according to the company. Most recently, he supported 16 hotels and 19 restaurants as regional director of operations finance at Sage, where he enhanced reporting systems, improved forecast accuracy and drove cost efficiencies across a diverse portfolio.
