Shiji has promoted Ryan King to SVP for Shiji Americas from his previous role of senior director, global strategy.
His promotion reinforces Shiji’s commitment to strengthening its presence across the American continents, particularly in light of the collaboration with global hotel chains in these regions, according to the company.
King has experience on both the vendor and hotel sides of the business. Before his time with Shiji, he served as director, strategic partnerships at StayNTouch, a Shiji Group Brand. He also spent time as TravelClick’s director of sales and as director, sales & marketing for the Phoenix Park Hotel in Washington, DC.
“Ryan’s extensive experience in the hospitality industry makes him uniquely qualified for this role,” said Kevin King, COO, Shiji. “His distinguished career and comprehensive understanding of the industry dynamics will be instrumental in driving our commitment to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions to large hotel chains across the Americas. Ryan King’s key mandate will be to further grow both North and South American markets, scaling service, support, sales and marketing efforts, according to the company.
