RobertDouglas has promoted Andrew Heilmann to the position of managing director and Max Chipouras to the position of VP.
Heilmann, previously an SVP, will work closely with the firm’s team across the country leading on a broad range of investment sale, structured financing and joint venture equity assignments, as well as using his experience in the hotel management and development sectors to guide clients raising capital for new brand and growth strategies. He will also take an active role in expanding the firm’s client base among both private and institutional owners.

In 2024, Heilmann managed a wide range of capital markets transactions, with a total value in excess of $400 million, including the $80.3M refinancing of Castle Peak Holdings’ Trailborn Portfolio.
Prior to joining RobertDouglas, he served in senior acquisitions and development roles with several hotel owners, operators and independent brands, including Lark Hotels, Provenance Hotels, GFI Hospitality, Two Roads Hospitality and Commune Hotels + Resorts.
Chipouras, previously a senior associate, will assume increasing responsibilities in a wide area of the firm’s activities, including hotel portfolio analysis, investment sales, and negotiating senior and subordinate financings. His recent accomplishments at RobertDouglas have included playing a role in the marketing and record-setting sale of One Ocean Resort and advising on more than $200 million of refinancing and restructuring transactions in 2024.

Prior to joining the company, Chipouras worked in commercial real estate sales and consulting with Cresa New York.
