Marriott to open five more properties in Indonesia

This announcement further elevates the two companies’ joint efforts to expand their footprint in the country.
Stretching from Jakarta to Surabaya and Batam, the properties in the signed pipeline include Jakarta Marriott Hotel Kota Kasablanka (slated to open in December 2029), Aloft Surabaya, Pakuwon Indah (slated to open in December 2029), Courtyard by Marriott Batam (slated to open in December 2029), The Jakarta EDITION (slated to open in December 2030) and The Westin Batam (slated to open in December 2030).

Marriott International currently manages 1,925 rooms across seven hotels and one golf club for PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk., with three more properties set to open in 2025. With the five additional management agreements awarded, Marriott International is on track to oversee a total of 18 properties and 4,500 rooms by 2030.
