US: Real estate development, brand and design firm LEFT LANE will open the Hotel Bardo Savannah in February 2024, a Leading Hotels of the World property.
Hotel Bardo Savannah is housed in the former Mansion on Forsyth Park, which LEFT LANE acquired for $52.5 million last year.
LEFT LANE have transformed the property into an urban resort and when it officially opens, will become the flagship hotel for the Bardo brand. It features 149 rooms and suites, a 25-metre pool and pool bar, an Italian restaurant and cooking school, a gym and spa, membership club, event spaces and more.
Saint Bibiana, the main restaurant, will open in September 2023 ahead of the resort’s launch. The 140-seat indoor and outdoor dining venue will be led by executive chef Derek Simcik.
Jon Kully, managing partner of LEFT LANE, said: “With Hotel Bardo we are evoking a sentiment often found along the Mediterranean and Adriatic coastlines, in treasured resorts where service is exceptional and understated.
“Saint Bibiana offers locals and visitors the first glimpse at what’s to come – reflecting our dedication to the food and beverage program and capturing the interplay between the comfort of the familiar and the thrill of the singular. Through our decade in the market, we’ve cultivated an understanding and appreciation for this duality, with Hotel Bardo reflecting LEFT LANE’s overarching intent.”
Hotel Bardo marks the fourth project in Savannah for LEFT LANE, joining Drayton Tower and The Perry Lane Hotel, with 100 & 111 Ann street to be completed this summer. The forthcoming transformation of Savannah’s Manger Building into a lifestyle hotel will follow the opening of Hotel Bardo.
