“This renovation and transition to a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is not only a celebration of Le Pavillon’s rich heritage; it’s also a bold step into its future,” said Sloan Dean, CEO, Remington Hospitality. “Having managed the hotel for nearly a decade, we’ve focused on nurturing its storied charm and unique positioning within the locale. This next chapter in the hotel’s evolution turns History on its Head, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the brand and connect authentically with the vibrant spirit of New Orleans.”
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the property has 226 redesigned guestrooms and seven suites. Catering to wellness travelers, 15 guestrooms feature advanced air purification systems by Pure Wellness
The hotel offers 10,000 sq. ft .of newly renovated event space a short walk from the French Quarter. This venue is perfect for meetings, special events, and weddings. Guests can also enjoy seven uniquely decorated suites, deisgned for hosting ancillary wedding celebrations like bridal luncheons and bachelorette parties.
Aiming to further the property’s meaningful connection with the local community, Remington Hospitality will continue to build on partnerships with local businesses, artisans and historians to continue and further enhance Le Pavillon’s cherished traditions, it reports. This includes a nightly tradition, dating back to 1988, of serving peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, occasionally with milk or hot chocolate on weekends; filling the shelves of the Library Suite with literature from local bookstores; and a respectful yet subtle nod to the hotel’s haunted past.
