HEI Hotels & Resorts has added the Beacon Hotel & Corporate Quarters in Washington, DC, to its growing portfolio of luxury, upper-upscale and upscale independent and branded hotels and resorts throughout the U.S.
The hotel is located close to the White House, Embassy Row and the National Mall, as well as 38 million sq. ft. of commercial office real estate.
The Beacon Hotel features 199 guestrooms, with 58 containing kitchenettes. Amenities include the Beacon Bar & Grill and Beacon Sky Bar, as well as a fitness center, business center and more than 10,000 sq, ft. of event space.
The property will soon undergo a multimillion-dollar renovation, which will a include top-to-bottom update of all guestrooms and bathrooms, a reimagining of the food & beverage outlets, the refurbishment of meeting spaces and enhancements to the fitness center.
