Marcus & Millichap, a commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, arranged the sale of Black Forest Lodge, a 60-room hotel with 2,300 sq. ft .of retail space in Big Bear Lake, CA.
Christian Apt, senior associate with the firm, exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer with support from Allan Miller, Chris Gomes and Skyler Cooper of the Miller-Gomes Hotel Team at Marcus & Millichap. Mario J. Alvarez, who manages the firm’s Inland Empire region, assisted with the transaction. Tony Solomon serves as the firm’s broker of record in California.
The property spans 2.89 acres and offers a variety of accommodations, including family chalets, mountain cabins and spa suites, some more than a century old and rich with architectural charm. Situated near Big Bear Village, Snow Summit and Meadow Park, the lodge has been family-owned since 1976 and includes a heated pool, spa, sports courts and RV parking. Located in the San Bernardino Mountains, Big Bear Lake offers year-round activities like skiing, hiking and boating close to the property.
