AvantStay, a hospitality management company and tech platform with more than 2,300 short-term vacation rental properties across 65 markets, has revealed its entrance into the hotel industry with the forthcoming opening of The Gilmore, an AvantStay Hotel, in Nashville.
“This is a huge milestone for AvantStay, and there is no better place for our first full-service hotel than in Nashville,” said Sean Breuner, CEO, AvantStay, who founded the company with Reuben Doetsch. “We’ve been expanding our portfolio in Nashville due to the increased demand and growth of the city, so bringing our world-class operational expertise in hospitality to managing a hotel there is a natural progression for us.”
Located in the city’s 12 South neighborhood, a community south of downtown, The Gilmore will open in April with 99 units ranging from studios to four-bedroom suites. The hotel will feature in-room food & beverage service, an underground parking garage, a 24/7 staffed main lobby, options for contactless check-in and checkout and add-on services like fridge stocking and IV therapy. Three private event spaces will also be available onsite: a courtyard, open-air rooftop and multipurpose room designed for corporate meetings or small gatherings.
Nashville-based development firm M Cubed Developments owns the property and Humphreys & Partners was tapped to spearhead the architecture of the newly constructed building. Nashville-based firm Design Object is leading the interior design of the hotel, which combines European leisure with Southern charm and the ease of a Mediterranean resort across the indoor and outdoor spaces, according to AvantStay.
